📍 Today, SMARTER member Sandra Dienemann from the Leibniz Universität Hannover attended the 28th ESACT – European Society for Animal Cell Technology meeting in Edinburgh!
👩‍🔬 With the mission of bringing together specialists to progress the development of cell systems and production derived from them, ESACT provided a fantastic opportunity for Sandra to communicate her work on SMARTER’s concept for the design of a modular fluorescence sensor.
🔬 Presented in the form of a poster, Sandra explained how this sensor would be able to monitor the fluorescent changes in four different “cell penetrating peptides” (short peptides that support the transport of molecules across the cell membrane) online.
